Spaghetti Squash Recipe

Direction: Slice spaghetti squash in half lengthwise. Scoop out the seeds with a spoon and clean as you would a pumpkin. Then, Place the cut-side down in a baking dish. Add enough water to come 1/2-inch up the sides of the baking dish and cover with aluminum foil. Bake for 45 minutes, until the squash is easily pierced with a paring knife. Turn squash over and cover with foil again and continue to cook another 15 minutes, until the squash is very tender. You may also boil it in a large pot of boiling water and cook for about 20 minutes. Remove, drain and cool with cold water or ice bath to stop the cooking. After cooking it in the oven or boiling, you scrape out the squash to make it looks like spaghetti. Then, add the tomato topping and spices. Enjoy!

Great Spinach Recipe

Direction: Boil spinach for 20 seconds and place in cold water. Toast some sesame seeds, then add together with 1 tbsp of soy sauce to a mortar and pestle and make into a paste. Then add 3 tbsp of soy sauce and some mirin. Simmer for 2 minutes and put on spinach. Enjoy this great Spinach Recipe.

Mushrooms Grilled

Direction: Grill mushrooms grilled and filled with warmed cherry tomatoes. Add some spring onions and seasoning if you like . Really filling if you get decent sized mushrooms.

Frozen Banana Recipe: Sliced frozen banana’s are really good. It’s an alternative to ice cream for cabbage soup diet.
Cappuccino Banana Smoothie Recipe: Blend a banana, ice, vanilla extract, milk, artificial sweetener, and a tsp of instant coffee granule in blender. Serve as morning meal for this diet.
Banana Ice-cream Recipe: Put a freeze banana through a juicer. You need a centrifugal type juicer like the Champion. It comes out just like banana flavored ice-cream and is beautiful. You can also do it with mango which is even nicer.

All Fruits Smoothie

Direction: In a high-powered blender such as a Vita-Mix, put in 2 cut apples, 2 navel oranges, 6 pitted dates and 2 cut frozen bananas. It is also best to refrigerate the fruit several hours before preparing the Fruit Smoothie. If the fruit is warm, add 1 or 2 cups of ice. Cover the blender and run at “high” until the dates are thoroughly blended into the smoothie. Serve in a tall glass with a straw, and enjoy. Makes a great breakfast. If a smaller blender is used, the recipe can be cut in half for each batch.

Sweet Carrot Soup Dessert

Direction: Boil some water, just enough to cover the carrot. Add in 2 cut carrot and some fragrance leaf. Let it boil until the carrot is soften and fragrance.Test the soup to see if it is enough sweet, if not, leave it boil longer. Enjoy!

Beanless Chili

Direction: The ingredients needed are 1 pound of ground turkey, 1 large can of tomatoes juice, 2 cans of diced tomatoes, 1 packet of Lipton onion soup mix, 1 finely chopped green onion and bell pepper and chili powder. Bring all to boil and let it simmer for a while to make sure the onions and bell pepper soften up some. Add a dash of Mrs. Dash herb and garlic seasoning and some salt to taste. Enjoy!

Yummy Bake Apple-Berry Pie

Direction: Spray a loaf pan with non stick spray Pam. Preheat oven 350oF. Peel and cut up 2-3 apples (You may use red or golden delicious for sweetness). Put half in the pan. Sprinkle in a handful or more of any berries (blackberries and bluberries work well). Add the rest of apples. Sprinkle with brown sugar substitute, cinnamon and nutmeg. Bake 25 minutes or so. Halfway thru baking, cover with alum foil. Enjoy!

Zucchini Cakes

Direction: Combine in a bowl 1 shredded and lightly salted zucchini (pressed between paper towels to dry it), 1 shredded carrot and a spoonful of minced garlic. Spray a non-stick pan with some light oil spray, make flattened patties out of the veggie mix, fry up on the pan, add salt and pepper as desired. Eat with all veggie salsa!
